These Terms of Service govern your use of DCOW Housing. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

DCOW Housing is an early-stage housing matching tool. It helps users submit housing needs or housing availability and discover potentially relevant matches. DCOW Housing does not act as a real estate agent, property manager, broker, landlord, tenant representative, or legal adviser.

No Guarantee

Matches, summaries, and recommendations are informational only. We do not guarantee that a listing, user, property, lease, price, availability, location, or match is accurate, current, lawful, safe, suitable, or available.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you submit and for verifying all housing details before making decisions. You agree not to submit unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, harmful, abusive, spammy, infringing, or privacy-invasive content.

Housing And Safety

You should independently inspect properties, verify identities, review lease documents, understand payment obligations, and seek professional advice where appropriate. Do not send money or sensitive documents unless you are confident the other party and transaction are legitimate.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account or activity creates risk, violates these terms, or harms the service or other users.

Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant DCOW Housing a limited license to host, process, display, transform, summarize, and use submitted content to operate and improve the service.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DCOW Housing is provided “as is” without warranties. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from housing decisions, user conduct, third-party content, or service interruptions.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of DCOW Housing after changes means you accept the updated terms.
